Job Title: Senior/Advanced Senior Software Tester
Job Outline:
We are looking for a high performance candidate. The ideal candidate must have previous testing experience as you will take sole responsibility of all web based testing.
You will carry out testing process to obtain the highest quality within the product before release to the client. Experience in integration, functional, regression, sanity and user acceptance testing skills are necessary. You will manage the test planning and execution for multiple projects, determine test requirements as well as develop and manage the execution of test plans and test cases. Our international working language is English.
Technical & Practical Skills:
- The individual must have experience in testing applications on Windows and Unix/Linux platforms.
- Experience with testing multi-tiered & distributed applications, experience with programming languages such as C++, Java, C, .Net, Delphi, Visual Studio. Also experience with shell scripting languages such as Perl, Bash knowledge of web servers IIS, SunOne Knowledge of application servers such as BEA Weblogic, Microsoft .Net, Jboss Knowledge of Databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, Informix. Must have used automated test tools like: Mercury LoadRunner, WinRunner, Quicktest Pro.
- Reviews requirement specifications.
- Follows Software Standards to perform instrument software tests.
- Creates, revises and executes automated, white box and/or black box test cases.
- Identifies the exact sequence of activities that were performed to produce software malfunctions.
- Writes software defect reports.
- Investigates software defects and problem reports.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements and Qualification :
-A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent education in a related discipline is preferred.
- Ability to develop automated tests is a must, working knowledge of SILK a plus.
- Must have ability to use software engineering tools, configuration management, and requirements management and defect management tools.
- Must possess strong communication skills, the flexibility & team work spirit to work in conjunction with other software testers and software developers.
